Crypto Wallet Design

Title: Bridging Fiat and Crypto: Multi-Asset Banking Hub UX Design Goal: Design a secure and intuitive platform for managing both fiat bank accounts and crypto wallets in one place. Why: Current apps force users to juggle multiple platforms, causing confusion, trust issues, and slow transactions.

Problem Statement

Users face major friction when moving funds between bank accounts and crypto wallets:

  1. Complex onboarding & KYC verification, especially for beginners.

  2. Opaque fees & slow processing when swapping fiat ↔ crypto.

  3. No unified dashboard to track balances across both systems.

Persona A – Novice User (Sarah Lin)

  • Goals: Learn crypto basics, feel safe linking accounts, avoid mistakes.

  • Pain Points: Intimidated by KYC & wallet seed phase ; unclear fees.


Persona B – Experienced Trader (James Carter)

  • Goals: Fast swaps, real-time rate analytics, quick portfolio view.

  • Pain Points: Too many steps to transfer between bank & wallet.


User Flows (Core Focus)

Flow 1 – Link Bank + Wallet (Onboarding / KYC)

  1. Sign up → Select “Link Bank” or “Link Wallet.”

  2. KYC (ID upload + selfie verification).

  3. Bank linking (Plaid-like API) + Wallet connection (WalletConnect).

  4. Confirmation with instant verification status & security reassurance.


Flow 2 – Swap Fiat ↔ Crypto

  1. Tap “Swap.”

  2. Enter fiat → see real-time crypto equivalent & live rate.

  3. Transparent fee breakdown before confirming.

  4. Instant confirmation & transaction tracker.

Wireframes & High-Fidelity UI

  • Dashboard: Unified balances (bank + wallet), quick actions (“Swap,” “Send,” “Deposit”).

  • Swap Screen: Minimal steps, big CTA, real-time rates & fees.

  • Onboarding Screens: Friendly, guided, progress tracker.
