  • Turn subjective taste notes into structured data

  • Encourage reflection and iteration after each brew

  • Keep the interface minimal and coffee-focused

UX & Technical Approach

  • UX-first structure: define what data matters before UI styling

  • Schema-driven design: database structure informed screen layout

  • AI-assisted development:

    • Used AI to scaffold backend logic

    • Generated frontend integration prompts

    • Rapid iteration and debugging with AI support
